Get Them!

Last night I purchased a Shark Steam Clean Mop! We went to the store last night and strictly for groceries. I honestly did not plan on getting it (yet), but I've been hearing about this mop for a few weeks now from a few different people and how nice it is. The last one being yesterday from Amber and she confirmed everything I had been hearing. I was going to wait a bit though to get one. Maybe test out my friend Amy's that she just bought and then get it later if I liked it. We were there though and it was on sale for $20 off. SCORE! Of course I couldn't pass up that deal, so we went ahead and got it.

I was like a kid with a new toy. Funny I know, but I get that way with cleaning supplies. I don't know what it is. There was one day a few weekends back where we spent three hours shopping in Las Cruces and all we really left there with was some items for Dylan and a trunk full of cleaning supplies (to include my Electrolux Stick Vac!). I was so excited the whole way home about all of our purchases, but then I kept reminding myself, "It's just cleaning supplies, a normal person should not be this happy about cleaning supplies..."

Anway, I quickly put the groceries away last night and then immediately started putting my mop together to test it out. I was kind of hoping it was cordless, but at least the cord is long. Like really long. The verdict? I love it!

The things I LOVE about this mop:

A. I don't have to use chemicals for it to sanitize the floor
B. I don't have to change out the pad after each room I mop
C. I don't have to keep a bucket of mop water on hand or keep going to the sink to rinse the sponge
D. It dries so quickly that even if Dylan is awake when I'm using it, I'm not too worried about his little footprints running across.

I used the mop on my entire living room, dining room, and kitchen and didn't have to rinse the pad once! When I got done, I took it off, squirted some soap on it, hand washed it a bit and now it's ready for it's next use!

Even Dylan had fun! I think he got a kick out of the steam that would come out. He would run around it and say, "Clean. Momma, clean!" and then laugh everytime it steamed.

If you have all wood or tile floors, or just a lot of wood or tile floors in your house and you don't already have an Electrolux Stick Vac and/or the Shark Steam Mop, get them! Trust me, you'll never look at cleaning the same.
Thank you so much Amy and Amber for the recommendation!

  1. I love my steam shark...
Off how my "wish list" has changed so much. I want a Dyson, lemon trees, and a new kitche-aid mixer. What happen to new jeans, a bottle of rum, and a purse for the weekend out with friends? Ha.
